The capsule collection by Christian Louboutin x Maison Margiela is a testament to an artistic dialogue where the creative languages of both Maisons converge.

This new synergy reinterprets the signature codes of each brand, blending Maison Margiela’s deconstructed aesthetic with Christian Louboutin’s craftsmanship and iconic red sole.

A new interpretation of the iconic Tabi split-toe infused with femininity and sensuality, while Maison Margiela applies its deconstructive and gestural techniques – décortiqué, hacking, and bianchetto – to Christian Louboutin’s expressions.

Through their distinctive traits, the collection unfolds as a dual capsule: Maison Margiela by Christian Louboutin and Christian Louboutin by Maison Margiela.

We shot the pictures for this collaboration with Jonathan Vincent Baron in a Paris artisan workshop to showcase the meticulous attention to details in every shoe.

Jonathan nails the ballet flats to the wall, while lasers, cutters, and pliers pass through the Tabi split-toe signature.
